World Press Freedom Day Commemorated

Commemorating World Press Freedom Day: Chargé d’Affaires Steven Koutsis and, to his right, Minister of Culture and Communications Mohamed Vall Ould Cheikh opened the ceremonies marking the day that celebrates the importance of a free press.

The existence of a free and active press in democratic societies is more than a necessity.
