Art in Embassies Exhibition

Ambassador Powell hosted a small reception at her residence on Saturday, June 25 to share some of her artwork from the “Art in Embassies” Program.  Gorgeous paintings by Tom Christopher and Hunt Slonem and beautiful glassware by Randi Solin and Josh Simpson were enjoyed by those in attendance.  The State Department’s Art in Embassies Program was established in 1963, and aims to share a sense of the quality, scope, and diversity of both countries’ art and culture through its exhibits.
