Education Programs

International Visitor's Program

The U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor’s Program brings a variety of Mauritanian leaders to the United States for month-long programs in areas of their interest.

For some of these programs, Mauritanian participants join others from many different countries to study education, public health, journalism, national and local politics, and many other subjects.

The U.S. Embassy in Nouakchott has two positions available each year for this program.
