American Embassy Supports Handicapped in Mauritania
through Donation of Sewing Machines


Steven Koutsis, Chargé d'Affaires of the United States Embassy in Nouakchott, presided this morning at the Sebkha (Nouakchott) Hospital at a ceremony to mark the donation of sewing machines to the Mauritanian Association of Handicapped Persons.  

This aid is given under the “Shared Futures” program, based on shared values between peoples such as human dignity, liberty, tolerance, and democracy.
