Opening of New Medical Clinic in Atar

Mr. Dennis Hankins, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the United States in Mauritania and Mr. Sall Saidou, Wali of Adrar, presided this morning in Atar the opening ceremony of a medical clinic built by the U.S. Humanitarian Assistance Program (HAP).
The overall cost of the construction of the medical clinic is about 14 million Ouguiyas.
It is important to note that four other Medical clinics have just been completed under the HAP program, and are about to be handed over to the Mauritanian Government. These Medical clinics are located in Touajil, Bassiknou, Nema and Fassala.
