US Embassy Supports Refugees
Nouakchott, May 29, 2008
Mr. Mark Boulware, Ambassador of the United States of America to Mauritania, presided today at the US Embassy in Nouakchott the signing ceremony of a grant between the Embassy of the United States of America in Mauritania and the NGO Coalition of Victims of the 89/91 Events . The amount of the grant is U.S. $19,807 (nearly five million Ouguiyas). The projects focus on the areas of health and education through distribution of anti-malarial medicines and school kits for students.
