Ambassador Jo Ellen Powell hosted some of Mauritania’s most active and engaged female figures for an afternoon tea to commemorate International Women’s History month. Embassy staff and female leaders from civil society and politics gathered to acknowledge the significant contribution women are making in Mauritanian society.
