United States Government Non-military Assistance Programs

Embassy Nouakchott manages a diverse and rich portfolio of humanitarian and development assistance programs.  All together United States aid to Mauritania comes to approximately $10,000,000 a year in bilateral and multilateral assistance in which food aid takes the biggest share.
